March 26, 2012

March 26, 2012–Usually it’s all “hurray for Mondays” around here, and despite the fact today is not only my birthday AND it’s a new Sevenly t-shirt release, I’m sitting at home sick and alternating between chills and hot flashes.  Happy birthday to me?

On the positive side of things, Sevenly.org is again partnering with an organization that is all about helping orphans.  As I’ve mentioned before, show me someone who doesn’t love orphans, and I’ll show you someone who hates sunshine and puppies.  Show Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to not only provide grants and resources to help orphans find permanent and loving homes, but they also are provide medical care for orphans with special needs.   Created by Christian musical artist Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife, Beth, Show Hope was birthed out of a desire to see families who are willing to adopt reach the financial goals necessary for adoptions to come into complete fruition.   By helping families with grants to adopt, Show Hope has helped many orphans around the world.  They also provide opportunities to sponsor children who are waiting for families so that their immediate needs are met.
